Blog approximate mock up of lable for front.

 Lemon Sour
Brace yourself for an amazing taste explosion.
This is a bottle of my all natural, Sour Mix. It has been hand made in small batches with the greatest care and concern for your enjoyment and health; and for the preservation of our environment. It started with fresh lemons from the lemon tree just off my back patio, a tree that has not seen pesticides in years. To that I add a blend of sugars carefully chosen to enhance the natural flavor of the fresh lemons to create this premium mixer.

Lime Sour

I finally sampled last years new experimental: Lime Sour.

Had wanted to try it with Tequila, but didn't have any. So I chose Vodka instead.
Two parts Vodka to Three parts Lime Sour was an acceptable balance.

Second pairing was with Malabu Coconut Rum in a 1 to 1 ratio.
THAT was like crack, I sucked it down in a few minutes before I realized I had sipped it all away.

The Third pairing was using the natural sediment rich layer of sour at the bottom of the bottle.
This layer takes on a bit of a bitter quality (besides the sour) from the peal and pulp, so I chose to mix it with Absolute Chile Vodka. This was an interesting pairing, surprising in it's complexity and exhilarating in its extra hits of bitter and hot to kick up the in punch of sour.

All in all these three pairings were interesting and tasty.
The rum cocktail was the best in my estimation.

That said,
I still want to try with Tequila.
(But I'm probably going to give away the sample bottles before I get a chance.)

Fresh Empty Bottles Have Arrived!

So I was out of bottles.
That is to say not only did I have no more full size bottles of Sour Mix that I could sell but I also had no suitable empty bottles to fill.

Yet I had/have and order for 6 bottles from my primary customer (The man I made the first batch for, who continues to crave my sour to this day!)

I tried to find a source for suitable bottles on short notice, but hadn't been successful.
Then a wonderful thing happened: As my friends and acquaintances were discussing my posts regarding my need for bottles with each other and me, one posted a place to buy bottles and another decided to buy and send me some.
And as a gift no less.
How awesome is that.

So now I have the bottles to fill my first ever cash order.
And other friends are beginning to find that they can empty and save a bottle for me after all.
Life is good.
I will be able to make lots now...
